Tampa Chamber of Commerce Singles Out Simpson Air

For the first time in its 29-year history, the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce has bestowed its Small Business of the Year Award to an HVAC service organization – Simpson Air, who won in the 21 to 50 employee category.

“We are extremely honored to be recognized as the Small Business of the Year and I am so proud of our entire team for making this happen,” states Paige Fisher Simpson, Simpson Air. “It’s been an amazing 10 years from our launch with two people in 1999 to this amazing award we share with 27 employees.”’

Hundreds of companies entered and were evaluated through a detailed application on their financial success, community involvement and ethical business practices. For companies making the finals, which included five businesses encompassing a variety of industries, two personal interview sessions were conducted to select the 2009 winners.

As a local winner, Simpson Air is now eligible to enter the National Small Business of the Year Award competition.
