Named Semi-Finalist for Tampa Chambers Small Business of the Year

Garry Simpson is proud to announce that the Tampa Area Chamber of Commerce has named Simpson Mechanical a semi-finalist for its Small Business of the Year Award.

One of 10 finalists in the 21 to 50 employee category, Simpson is competing against other companies against criteria such as solid and ethical standards, business goals, operational management, innovativeness and response to adversity, leadership and community involvement. Overall, 300 companies submitted entries for the award’s three categories: 5-20 employees, 21-50 employees and 51-250 employees.

“We’re excited to receive this honor and we look forward to sharing with the selection committee at the Chamber the business and operational philosophies that have made us a success,” states Simpson.  “Then, in the final round, we look forward to showcasing our process, products and the employees who helped us achieve this success when the committee visits our office.”
